Feng Shui tips to enhance your home

Front door. The most important part of your house according to Feng Shui is the front door which is the entrance or the mouth of your house. All the important, positive energy comes in through the front door of your home. Make sure the appearance is the most favorable for the energy to come in. The most important tip is to use your front door regularly. I know we live in a “garage door society”, we use garage doors for easy access to kitchen and other areas of the house. Use your front door daily. Make sure door is not blocked by anything, large tree, large plant or just a cabinet behind it. It needs to open fully for the energy to flow in. To enhance to front door, if possible, paint it red. Red is the color of prosperity and power. Another thing is to hand a wind chime at your front door to attract good energy to come in.

Feng Shui tips for your career

Important thing is to make sure that in your office, your desk is in power position, facing the door. That way you are in control, aware of what’s going on, who’s coming in and going out. By positioning a power symbol at your desk, you ensure that the power stays with you. Everybody has a different idea of a power symbol, be it your first earned bill, strong vibrant animal and according to Feng Shui, a small water fountain at your desk brings in a flow of wealth and success.

Feng Shui tips for your love life

The hub of your love life is of course your bedroom. Make sure your bedroom is for rest and intimacy only. Try to avoid all the distractions and overstimulation in your bedroom. Having a TV or computer have a lot of energy and can keep you awake at night. It might be a good idea to cover your TV and put the computer in another room or entirely use it in another room to keep your bedroom for the activities that belong there.

Another thing to remember is to position your bed so that it’s not under a window but that your feet point towards the door. Do you have paintings and art in your bedroom? Make sure, especially if single and looking, to have items and art that have a couple or two in them instead of single animal, single woman etc. This way you enhance your desire for a partner. Check the top of your bed. Is it covered with stuffed toys and pillows? Seems like your bed is already “occupied”. Make sure there is room for a partner.

Happy Feng Shui and may you find love, prosperity and happiness!
